Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU)
Ontario government has brought into legislation that townships must have provisions to accept ADU's into their limits.
ADU's can vary in cost(s), much depending on size, materials and location/property.
ADU Pricing can range from $250 - $400 per square foot.
Mini-Home/Mini-House
Similar in size to most ADU's, however can be used as primary residence if it is the first dwelling placed on a property.
Built similar to typical houses, would need new services run from townships/utility companies if it will be the first or main dwelling on a property
Can be built with the idea in mind of future additions for expanding families.
